For those of you who appeared at Record Store Day, I hope yours was a splendid one. Alas, I was not there this time around-- and it was something I had thought long and hard on whether or not my previous plans were bigger than it. As the day drew closer and closer, I knew that as much as it would hurt, my previous plans were in fact bigger.

April has always been my busiest month-- something I've loved and hated. Loved for RSD and Tora Con (Tora Con was what won out this year), and hated for the endless running around and stress (staying up until three AM the night before Tora Con getting your cosplay perfect, last minute changes for RSD, and the endless e-mails from both sides as coordination vanishes). This Tora Con marked the third year that I had known Kelly, and one year and six months that we had been dating. Young as we may be, I knew it was time: About 1:30PM on 4/16, I asked her to marry me, and she said yes.

So for those who were caring as to why I was absent on this, our fourth RSD, my apologies, but this was simply bigger.
