Every year, I go to Rochester's premier anime convention, hosted by the RIT Anime Club. They've been doing so just under ten years, or at least so I believe. Compared to larger cons, it is still largely a grassroots movement, though of those in the vein, it is just before breaking onto the scene of cons nationwide. Think Otacon, Anime North, Comic-con and such.
Honestly, at this exact point in time, I can't really say anything. I camped outside the registration doors the previous night, around roughly 10:30, to beat the rush we had been hearing rumors about showing up around 4 AM or so. Due to the attendance cap (which didn't effect me because I pre-registered, but my friends were not, so...), we arrived first. I was literally the first person processed this morning when the doors opened.
I spent the last twenty-four hours at RIT. First sleeping on their surprisingly comfortable brick paths, and then nerdin' it up around campus, mingling with the likes of voice actors and cosplayers-- both professional, and like myself, amatuer.
My day has been too filled to even make it conceivable that I have the energy left to post this, a blog about telling you how I'm out of energy to tell you about it.. I know, my madness is unmethoded. Get over it.
I need some f&^king shut eye. G'night, whoever.
